Why Conserving Your Energy Saves Your Soul
One lesson I’ve learned in the last few months is that we don’t have unlimited energy—especially if you’re an introvert like me.
Using our energy wisely may be mind-blowing, yet it can seem unattainable. After all, we’re used to rhythms and routines—and how we feel while doing it all.
We’re used to it.
We’re used to running on empty.
We’re used to putting ourselves last.
We’re used to our schedules and habits.
We may even blame our lifestyles for lack of time and resources, which may be valid.
But perhaps it’s not just time we lack; it’s how we use our time and how we can mentally and physically function in the world around us.
Perhaps we’re used to stress, drama, and trauma, and we may not recognize it until we’re sucked dry.
One day, we may wake up feeling stale, panicked, depressed, and unable to live how we want.
We waste time and energy in all the wrong ways. Our decisions of what we let rule our lives leave us unable to live how we truly want—and hold us back for years.
But there’s power in tiny changes.
When we make small fine-tuning decisions, major renewal can occur, depending on the situation. Sometimes, freedom happens overnight.
Suddenly, a huge weight lifts from our shoulders, the silent burdens.
We may have more energy for work, exercise, home life, hobbies, and passion projects by making tweaks. We have more energy for the things, places, and people that matter AND add value to our lives instead of hindering.
We can have more life energy as excitement in our veins jumps for joy.
We may not even realize toxicity until it’s gone, but we feel refreshed and anew when it does.
See, conserving our energy matters more than we think; it’s life-changing.
What can we do less of or get rid of completely?
What can we ADD that will benefit our health?
What can we do to create a more fulfilling life?
There’s only so much we can do in a day, but hear me out…
The mental drain will eventually turn into a physical drain.
And before that happens, I pray you write down what’s holding you back or possibly holding you back, make changes, and implement them.
I pray your soul feels renewed, like you’ve cried a million tears and prayed a hundred prayers.
While time matters, energy is also limited.
Do you need a soul renewal in 2024?
